Grunt is modified version of the Fallout: New Vegas perk Grunt, introduced by the Honest Hearts add-on.

Both issues above can be remedied by installing DUST Tweaks - Better Repair and More.

The Combat Knife and the Sacrificial Knife (formerly Chance's Knife) will see no change in damage with Grunt as they both are also in the Cowboy perk list, and therefore receive both the buff and debuff.

The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic Nevada, roughly four years after (but not influenced by) the events of the previous title, Fallout 3.It was developed by Obsidian Entertainment (Alpha Protocol) and published by Bethesda in 2010.The game is available for the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.

This perk seems to be slightly bugged, as it has not been modified to include, for example, the Makeshift Grenade Launcher and other weapons introduced by DUST that fit the perk's description. Fallout: New Vegas is the fourth installment in the long-running Fallout series.

The following weapons will have their damage reduced by 25%: The following weapons will gain a 25% damage increase: Grunt will negate the effects of the Cowboy perk, with a Survivor taking both perks ending up with no gains. Grunt, like most of the available perks, has been modified in DUST to also include negative effects.

45 Auto Pistols and SMGs, Service Rifles, Assault and Marksman Carbines, Light Machine Guns, Frag Grenades, Grenade Rifles and Launchers, and Combat Knives but 25% less damage when using any revolver, lever-action firearm, dynamite, knife, or hatchet.
